Dear, I have the following situation. (Sorry my English) I bought a new Denon AVR X2500H. I did the initial setup, set up the network, executed the Audissey, everything is fine. I had to check and executed the update firmware and Receiver downloaded and installed over the network. Then the problem began ... The next day I turning on the Denon and after 05 sec, the receiver into the protection mode 'Speaker Protection'. I checked the speakers connections and it was all right. After some research I found in a Denon article that the firmware update can change behavior of the microprocessor and in this case, a reset settings would work. I reset as described in the manual, hold Ch - Ch + and Power button. It worked ... it no longer goes into protection mode. But after the reset, the Network is no longer working. When you select Bluetoofh, HEOS Music channel, the message 'Please Wait ...' was stuck. I tried other procedures researched by holding the buttons on Receiver: Reset the network module> holding 'Zone2 + Ch+', Unsuccessful. Factory Reset> holding 'Dimmer + Zone2 Source', Unsuccessful. Firmware installation by USB> (put the files into USB root and selecting the HEOS Music channel) - Unsuccessful. Restore to Factory Firmware> Hold 'Dimmer + Ch- and turn on with the power button' - Without success, the message 'Restoring FW ...' was stuck. (For default it takes approximately 15 minutes to restore complete) Has anyone ever had a similar situation? A friend commented that it is not recommended to firmware update using the network Receiver, regardless of the brand... but until then I had already done. Is it the case to take the customer support to flash the eeprom? Best Regards, Comments are closed.
